GLS AI – Microfinance Fund receives the LuxFLAG Microfinance Label

The GLS AI – Microfinance Fund has been granted the LuxFLAG Microfinance Label once again.

The label recognizes institutions that invest in the Microfinance sector and helps unlock capital from institutional and private investors in order to support the financial inclusion sector. Eligible are article 9 funds with a portfolio of 50 % or more in microfinance.

We are pleased to announce that the GLS Alternative Investments – Mikrofinanzfonds has been granted the use of the LuxFLAG Microfinance Label for a one year period starting on 1 April 2023 and ending on 31 March 2024.

The LuxFLAG Microfinance Label is recognized for its high standards and rigorous assessment of the applicant investment fund’s investment strategy and integration of social criteria into the investment analysis and decision-making process, as well as an affirmation of the applicant fund’s transparency towards investors; all key components of the eligibility criteria of the LuxFLAG Microfinance Label.”
