A sustainable managed ecosystem is a cornerstone towards long-term prosperity in emerging economies.
Thomas joined FS Impact Finance in August 2020 as a forestry expert.
Within in the Restoration Seed Capital Facility, he will support investment decisions for sustainable forestry projects in emerging markets.
Prior to FS, Thomas gained 2.5 years’ experience with AFRY, former Pöyry Management Consulting, providing strategic advice to global players in the entire wood-based value chain. His focus was on commercial transaction advisory and feasibility projects for green- and brownfield investments. Already in his studies he focused on sustainable managed forests, both tropical and temperate landscapes.
Thomas has a Bachelor in Forestry and Resource Management and Master of Science in Forest and Wood Science from Technical University in Munich.
In his spare time, Thomas enjoys exploring new routes on his bike and preparing dinner for friends.
