Florian Sigmund

Florian is an entrepreneurship enthusiast who, until recently, spent his time supporting the Egyptian and Middle Eastern Start-up ecosystems. He has now found a new calling in the development of frankly.green, which finances green businesses in developing and emerging markets.

Florian holds two master’s degrees in economics, one from Sciences Po Paris, focusing on the economics of labour markets and the other from the University of Edinburgh, specialising on finance.

His professional background is predominantly in Risk Capital Investing, Business Development, Diplomacy and Boatbuilding.

Florian is – quite obviously – into water sports, in particular sailing and kitesurfing. He also enjoys lad-based activities though, such as hiking, cycling and skiing.
