Sustainability Officer
The universal impact formula: Respect our planet + respect each other
Pascal is the new Sustainability Officer at FS Impact Finance,
hired to dive deep into the EU Sustainable Finance framework and develop the firm’s sustainability strategy. Pascal focuses on getting the products of FS Impact Finance ready for the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation and EU Taxonomy and works with the investment teams on launching new impact investment products.
Previously, Pascal worked in the investment banking divisions of UniCredit and Deutsche Bank as a trading floor compliance advisor in Munich, London, and Frankfurt from where he achieved a strong background in working with regulations and reviewing complex financing and securities transactions.
Pascal holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Bielefeld University (yes, the city actually exists) and a Master of Laws with distinction in Corporate Finance Law from the University of Westminster in London. He is a “Certified Compliance Professional” as well as a “Certified Expert in ESG & Impact Investing”.
In his free time, Pascal grows his own fruits and vegetables in his allotment garden to cook vegan meals. Apart from that, Pascal enjoys exploring the roots of Detroit Techno and Chicago House music just like Jazz and Soul. In the active part of his music passion, he produces electronic music, plays DJ sets and, to the pity of his wife, his saxophone far too seldom.
