The Joint Impact Model (JIM) is a framework for investors to measure and report on the social and environmental impact of investments. Initiated by a group of international finance institutions around the Dutch FMO, the British CDC, Proparco, BIO from Belgium, the African Development Bank and FinDev Canada, JIM has always been based on the principles of collaboration, transparency, and materiality. The JIM enables investors to better understand the impact of their investments, improve their decision-making and thereby enhance accountability towards stakeholders. FS Impact Finance is a member of the JIM through the GLS AI – Microfinance Fund to fulfill disclosure requirements around the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), including the Principal Adverse Impact indicator (PAI) framework.
